Fargo Gastroenterology & Hepatology Clinic, P.C was formed in 2005. Dr. Taheri is a board certified gastroenterologist. Dr. Taheri served as a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks from 1992 to 2005. Dr. Taheri received her medical degree from the School of Medicine, National University of Iran. She completed three years of internal medicine residency and one year of chief residency at Cook County Hospital, Chicago, Ill. She completed a fellowship in gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Vermont, Burlington. Dr. Taheri completed her preceptorship in IBD program at Mayo Clinic. She is board certified in gastroenterology. This means that she has fulfilled the necessary criteria established by the board and has passed the examination that accredit her in this field. Dr. Taheri is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology. As a gastroenterologist, Dr. Taheri is skilled in ERCP, capsule endoscopy, upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. She specializes in Crohn's disease, Ulcertive Colitis, stomach ulcers, pancreatitis, and difficulty in swallowing and other disorders of liver and digestive tract. She also has an in office infusion center for Crohns and Ulcertive Colitis and Iron Deficiant Anemic patients. This has a major impact on quality patient care with minimal waiting time for treatment.
