Founded in 1962 by Milton Homstad, Adolph Tobiason and Louis Peabody, Tri-Steel Manufacturing Co. Inc is a research and development company focusing on agricultural machinery needs for the local and surrounding farm communities. The company still remains a family owned and operated business at its original location on Highway 81 North in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
The business has been built on sales, service, parts, design, fabrication and repair focusing on the potato fresh pack industry. We have the ability to design, fabricate and install handling, conveying, and processing lines from the field to the consumer package. In addition to potatoes, Tri-Steel also manufactures and sells grain handling and conveying equipment for processing and packaging facilities.
Today, Tri-Steel Manufacturing Co. serves these industries as well as a wide variety of local and regional industries by offering parts, new equipment, custom manufacturing, a full service machine/welding shop and a large, diverse steel inventory.
